A Polish reggaeton teacher brings new urban moves and flow to Reggaetonaso
The world of reggaeton is lively, diverse and constantly changing. Every year there are new dancers and choreographers who bring a breath of fresh air to the scene. One up-and-coming artist is Piotrek Grzybek, a talented reggaeton teacher from Poland.
From ballroom to reggaeton
Piotrek Grzybek grew up in Cracov where he discovered his passion for music and dance at an early age. He took his first steps in the world of dance in balroom dance, a culture that has a strong following in Poland, as in many other countries. Through his intense involvement, Piotrek developed a deep connection to the urban dance scene and a strong ability to express his emotions through movement.
It was only later, during a trip to Cuba, that Piotrek came into contact with reggaeton for the first time. Fascinated by the energy and passion of this dance style, he began to incorporate reggaeton into his repertoire and quickly developed his own distinctive mix of hip-hop elements and traditional reggaeton moves. This hybrid dance form was well received in the Polish dance scene and eventually led to Piotrek offering his own reggaeton classes in whole Poland.
We are looking forward to Piotrek enriching our festival
